The Warehouse Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking
Warehouse Manager
to lead operations across multiple sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to take ownership of warehouse performance, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and the highest safety standards.

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient storage and movement of client cargo, driving performance improvements, and delivering continuous development in people, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities Of Our Warehouse Manager

  • Leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Optimising warehouse layout, stock control, and organisation for maximum efficiency.
  • Motivating, guiding, and supporting warehouse teams to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Ensuring safe handling, storage, and repacking of goods in line with procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and clients to manage delivery expectations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
  • Championing Health & Safety best practices and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Delivering on operational requirements and support wider business objectives.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and commercial acumen, with a proven track record of managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build strong client relationships and develop high-performing teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with coaching and development experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive commercial performance.
  • Sound knowledge of logistics and warehouse best practices.
  • Strong Health & Safety expertise.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
  • Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
