ROLE – Assembly Technician

LOCATION - Portsmouth

TERM - Permanent

SALARY- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures bespoke products, and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Portsmouth.

The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Experienced with Mechanical Assembly and Welding
  • Able to manufacture components for assembly and build high precision products
  • Ideally have some knowledge of pipes, pumps, hoses, valves, manifolds and similar equipment would be beneficial
  • Electrical knowledge would be beneficial too
  • Mechanical background in a workshop environment
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player

The Assembly Technician role will involve
:

  • Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
  • Pressure testing fluid transfer products
  • Working to project specifications and deadlines
  • Participating in technical training
  • Working to procedures and instructions
  • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
