Client Relationship Executive – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Client Relationship Executive to join our Distribution team here at Aviva Investors. The role is ideal for someone with experience providing administrative support to client-facing teams, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong communication and coordination skills.

A bit about the job:

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting client-facing teams and possess strong communication and organisational skills. Reporting to a Client Relationship Director, you will play a key role in supporting the management of Aviva Investors' relationship with our internal client, Aviva.

While your primary focus will be supporting the team responsible for the Aviva Client within our Insurance channel, you may occasionally assist with administrative tasks across our Wealth and Institutional channels, helping to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality client service and relationship management.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out administrative duties in support of the team, including:
    • Leading the preparation of monthly service oversight reports
    • Producing monthly passive breach and risk event reports
    • Managing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requests
    • Performing cash reconciliations
  • Assisting in the organisation of meetings and events for the Client Relationship Directors and Client Relationship Managers supporting Aviva
  • Assisting with special projects and initiatives as needed
  • Supporting the onboarding of new team members, organising training sessions and team introductions
  • Managing purchase orders, procurement processes, and contract renewals
  • Coordinating occasional travel and expenses for the team
  • Providing ad-hoc assistance to Executive Assistants as required for holiday/annual leave cover

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills, with the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working within a Financial Services/regulated business
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and other collaboration tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not essential.

What you'll get for this role:

  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus
  • Family friendly parental and carer's leave
  • Generous holiday entitlement plus bank holidays with the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products
  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it
  • Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars
  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme
  • 21 volunteering hours per year

Aviva is for everyone:

We're inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don't, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares.

We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working –spending around 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
