Experienced Mobile Tyre Fitter – The Tyre Soldier (Dundee / Scotland-wide)

Job Type: Cover Work (Potential to Become Permanent)

Location: Based in Dundee – travel across Scotland

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

The Tyre Soldier is a growing mobile tyre fitting business based in Dundee, covering customers across Scotland. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our team on a cover-work basis, with the possibility of developing into a permanent position as the business continues to expand.

About the Role

You will be attending customers at their homes, workplaces and roadside locations, providing tyre fitting, puncture repairs and general tyre support for cars, 4x4s and vans. The role requires a high level of professionalism, safety awareness and confidence working independently.

This is not a role for someone starting out or an apprentice. We will onboard you to our systems and standards, but full training will not be provided, so proven experience is essential.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • 5+years proven experience in tyre fitting
  • Strong competence in car, van and 4x4 tyre fitting and repair
  • Previous roadside working experience and training
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, approachable and professional in stressful situations, including breakdowns
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety and professionalism
  • Full and valid UK driving licence

Desirable (not essential):

  • Agricultural tyre knowledge
  • General mechanical knowledge
