Role Overview

The Studio Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Sandbanks photography studio. This position ensures the smooth and efficient running of all e-commerce and content shoots by managing product flow, coordinating models, and maintaining a professional studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stock & Sample Management

  • Manage all stock used for photography, ensuring items are checked in and out, returned when needed, and logged accurately.
  • Conduct regular stock takes to ensure full visibility of available products.
  • Ensure all required samples are ready and available ahead of scheduled photoshoots.
  • Request, track, and receive new or missing products.

Model Coordination

  • Organise models for ecommerce shoots, including scheduling, briefing, and confirming availability.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation when required, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Act as a point of contact for models on shoot days.

Studio Preparation & Support

  • Prepare the studio environment ahead of each shoot, including setting up equipment, backdrops, and lighting as directed.
  • Steam and prepare all garments, ensuring products look pristine and shoot-ready.
  • Assist the photographer and creative team during shoots by organising outfits, managing product flow, and maintaining shoot efficiency.
  • Keep the studio consistently clean, tidy, and health-and-safety compliant.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong organisation across all studio-related processes.
  • Support the wider creative and e-commerce teams as needed to deliver high-quality content.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
