Pupil Support Assistant KS2 - Grade 2 - Part Time - 22 hrs per week/Fixed Term/Term time only contract to 31st August 2026 in the first instance, with the possibility of the contract being extended. This position will involve working with a pupil in KS2 who requires additional support academically. Annual Salary: £12,408.00
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and proactive Pupil Support Assistant to join our hardworking and nurturing school environment. This position is available straight away, following interviews and Safeguarding checks. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support the child.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- has experience of working with children with additional support needs
- has an understanding of child development and barriers to learning
- has strong communication, patience, empathy and resilence
- has the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
- has the relevant qualifications in childcare, education or support work.
Five Ways is a large, three form entry primary school with approximately 680 pupils on roll. We have the privilege of working with well-behaved children who are motivated to learn and have supportive parents who want the best for their children. Our school is made up of a dedicated team of Staff and Governors working together to provide a stimulating environment which is conductive to learning.
