Job Description

Kanadevia Inova are hiring a Document Controller on a fixed-term-contract, where you will be an employee of Kanadevia Inova for the fixed term of 24 months.

You will join our project team based on-site for the construction of the Thameside Energy Recovery Facility (ERF)in Tilbury, Essex.

Start date 12th January 2026 for a duration of 24 months.

Applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects, or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Allocate and control the document numbering system for the project work, working with precision to ensure that all electronic and hard copy filing is accurate and is easily retrievable
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel
  • Administration of PIRS document system
  • Establish, develop, and manage effective documentation systems and procedures and maintain relevant manuals / systems
Qualifications
  • Information Management or similar qualification desirable
  • Must have experience with Document Control Systems, ideally PIRS or equivalent
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Solution orientated, forward planner, strong communicator
  • Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent (desirable)
