The Skills We're Looking For

· You have strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
· You're confident in cost planning, tendering, and contract negotiation.
· You understand construction processes and can communicate effectively with both site teams and clients.
· You're proactive, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· You take ownership of your work and see the bigger picture — not just numbers, but value and relationships.
· You have at least 5–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Manager in the UK construction industry (preferably residential or mixed-use projects).
What You'll Be Doing
· Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets and cost plans.
· Oversee tendering and procurement, ensuring competitive and transparent supplier selection.
· Manage and value subcontractor accounts, variations, and progress claims.
· Negotiate and administer contracts in line with UK regulations and company standards.
· Provide accurate monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
· Identify risks, opportunities, and commercial strategies to optimise project performance.
· Liaise with site teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
· Support continuous improvement of internal commercial systems and contribute ideas for efficiency — including digital and AI tools.

Pay: £37,072.20-£82,310.74 per year
