Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Sweet Bakery Assistant to join our team in a bustling bakery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and assisting in the production of delicious sweet baked goods.

Experience in sweet bakery and cake making is absolutely vital for this role

Duties:

  • Assist in food preparation and baking activities under the guidance of the head baker

  • Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards

  • Operate kitchen equipment for baking and food production

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery area

  • Assist in packaging and presenting baked goods for sale

  • Support with stock management and inventory control

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery environment is desirable

  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

  • Basic culinary skills with an interest in baking

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
