We're building the world's first open-source prompt engineering university. Our mission: teach the world to prompt.

We believe prompting will become the world's most valuable skill. Prompt University is creating free, community-driven education to democratise access to this emerging capability.

The Role

We're looking for our first Head of Prompts to lead curriculum development and shape how millions learn prompt engineering.

You'll design courses, conduct research, work with industry experts, and establish the standards for world-class prompt engineering education. This is a founding role where you'll build something from scratch that impacts people globally.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build comprehensive prompt engineering courses (foundation to advanced)
  • Research and document best practices across different LLMs and use cases
  • Work with practitioners to capture and codify expertise
  • Establish quality standards for all educational content
  • Represent Prompt University as a thought leader in the space

Who You Are

Essential

  • Deep expertise in prompt engineering across multiple LLM platforms
  • Proven ability to create educational content or training materials
  • Strong understanding of how LLMs work
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-directed and comfortable in early-stage environments

Valuable

  • Background in education or instructional design
  • Technical background (engineering, computer science, data science)
  • Experience with community building or open-source projects
  • Published work in the AI/prompting space

Mindset

  • Passionate about democratising education and technology
  • Believe prompt engineering can be taught systematically
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
  • Driven by impact over ego
