We are currently looking for an Extrusion Operator to join us at Chippenham. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

The role

• To ensure that machines produce at standard output and meet the production plan requirements.
• To ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and that all work is undertaken to the appropriate standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Chippenham improvement plans.
• To enter and maintain all relevant information for shop floor data collection.
• To enter and maintain all relevant information as required to meet QC standards.
• To complete autonomous maintenance tasks as per schedules.
• To undertake work in other operational departments should the need arise.

The profile

• Previous experience of short/medium size batch production.
• Must be able to plan and organize activities of self
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrable flexibility and adaptable work ethic
• H&S Level 1 responsibility statement
• Willingness to embrace change and improve processes a systems develop
• Practical experience of Extrusion manufacturing process
