Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Preschool Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children. Your expertise in early childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum implementation will inspire curiosity and foster growth in our preschoolers. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and sensory activities aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood frameworks
  • Support children's social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive behavior management strategies and individualised attention
  • Create a safe, welcoming Preschool environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and independence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive strategies for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
  • Engage effectively with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, share observations, and discuss developmental goals
  • Manage Preschool routines, transitions, and activities to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Utilise Preschool management techniques to foster respectful interactions among children

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with young children in preschool settings or daycare environments
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education for preschoolers
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and Preschool management strategies
  • Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or working with children with autism or disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage parents positively
  • Previous experience in Early year settings preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports children's care and early learning milestones
  • Full and relevant level 3 in Early years
