Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team.

Strip steak bar is a fun and energetic new steak concept in Gloucester food docks . ideal candidates will be professional but maintain bags of personality and positive can do attitudes .

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant experience, with a passion for providing exceptional guest services. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Upsell drinks and food items to maximise sales opportunities.
• Monitor guest consumption levels and ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
• Take orders , wait on tables as required .
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
• Clean and maintain at all times all areas of the business as required
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Skills

• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Previous restaurant or bartending experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle peak service times efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
