  • Responsibilities:
  • Support Service Users with day-to-day activities, including personal care, meals, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Follow Care Plans and report any changes in needs or wellbeing.
  • Keep the living environment clean and safe.
  • Promote dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with the care team and family members when necessary.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in providing personal care and daily living support, preferably in a live-in care setting.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish meaningful personal connections with Service Users.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – with the ability to effectively inform and collaborate with colleagues, management, professionals, and family members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging or stressful situations.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and care procedures is desirable.
  • Commitment to upholding dignity, respect, and confidentiality in all aspects of care.
  • Support the Service User with all aspects of daily living, helping them to maintain the best possible quality of life in the comfort of their own home.
  • Deliver compassionate, respectful, and reliable care in a one-to-one setting, often working independently in the Service User's home.
  • Follow detailed Care Plans and any specific instructions regarding the Service User's care and wellbeing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
