The Role

This is a varied position covering both operations and business development.

You'll be responsible for handling the daily running of freight and courier jobs, ensuring smooth coordination with drivers and clients, and identifying opportunities to bring on new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day freight forwarding operations (road, same day, UK & EU).
  • Liaise with clients, drivers, and suppliers to ensure jobs run efficiently.
  • Manage quotations, bookings, and job entries.
  • Identify and approach potential customers to grow new business.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • Work towards agreed targets and contribute to company growth.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience in freight forwarding or transport operations, ideally with some exposure to sales or customer account management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in UK or European road freight / same-day courier operations.
  • Confident communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive and commercially minded with a drive to achieve results.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
