The role

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll take ownership of the design system powering multiple digital brands — evolving it into a world-class framework that drives creativity, efficiency, and collaboration.

This is a hands-on systems role: part designer, part design engineer, part systems advocate. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and design leadership to raise the bar for design quality, speed, and cohesion across the organisation.

About the job

• Lead and evolve the multi-brand design system, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and visual excellence
• Improve design operations by refining workflows, tooling, and collaboration frameworks
• Partner with engineers to deliver robust, reusable components and streamline design-to-development handoff
• Experiment with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., v0, Cursor) to enhance creativity and speed
• Build and maintain Figma templates, plugins, and documentation to ensure consistent design execution
• Collaborate with product designers to adapt and improve system components based on user insights
• Advocate for the design system across teams — leading workshops, sharing updates, and driving adoption
• Shape and maintain the design system roadmap with engineering partners
• Experiment with emerging technologies and workflows to enhance quality and delivery

Who you are

• 5–10+ years' experience in Product or Systems Design, ideally within tech or product-led environments
• Deep experience building and maintaining large-scale, token-based design systems
• Skilled at working at the intersection of design and engineering — with strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, Storybook, and Zeroheight
• Expert in visual and interaction design with exceptional craft and attention to detail
• Forward-thinking, curious, and passionate about how AI and automation can improve design outcomes
• Collaborative and communicative — thrives in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
• Organised and proactive — brings clarity and momentum to complex challenges
