About Us:
At Noted Aromas, we're on a mission to make high-quality fragrances accessible to everyone. Born in the UK and built by a passionate team of fragrance experts, we create scents inspired by timeless favourites that people can enjoy every day.
We're a growing, fast-paced business with big ambitions and we know our success comes from the people behind it. That's why we foster an open, collaborative, and inclusive culture where ideas are encouraged, talent is developed, and every team member plays a part in shaping our journey.
Joining Noted Aromas means more than just a job. It's an opportunity to be part of a company that values creativity, celebrates individuality, and is redefining what everyday luxury can mean.
The Role:
Recently backed by Private Equity, the company is on an ambitious scaling and internationalisation journey. This role offers a clear progression path towards a Finance Director position.

· Manage all aspects of UK and international tax compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
· Develop and enhance financial controls, systems, and processes to support business scaling and international operations.
· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in partnership with the CFO and wider management team.
· Drive financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making in a dynamic ecommerce environment.
· Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional service providers.
· Support the development of internal finance team capabilities, mentoring junior finance staff as the team grows.
· Contribute to the overall strategic finance agenda during the investment cycle and beyond.
· Monitor and manage working capital, financial risks, and regulatory compliance.
· Facilitate business partnering across departments to ensure finance is integrated with operational objectives.
Skills:
· Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
· Proven experience as a Financial Controller within demanding and fast-growing businesses.
· Ecommerce or digital sector experience strongly preferred but not essential if evidence of quick learning and adaptability is demonstrated.
· Experience within international or multi-jurisdictional businesses highly desirable.
· Strong technical accounting and tax compliance knowledge.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable driving change and transformation.
· Comfortable working closely with Private Equity stakeholders.
This is a career-defining role offering the ambition and challenge suitable for a finance professional ready to take the next step into senior leadership within an evolving, internationally focused ecommerce business.
