Art Teacher – Experienced Teacher Opportunity at a Grammar School in Herefordshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Art Teacher to join our prestigious grammar school in Herefordshire. You will teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with the potential to contribute to A-Level art teaching in a dynamic academic environment.
What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.
Has proven experience teaching Art across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including A-Level content.
Possesses strong subject knowledge and a creative, student-centred approach to teaching.
Is passionate about inspiring students, fostering their creativity, and maintaining high academic standards.
Enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive team, sharing best practices and contributing to the wider school community.
Has excellent communication skills and is committed to continuous personal and professional development.

What You'll Be DoingAs an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with opportunities to contribute to A-Level teaching.
Delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of artistic media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art.
Inspiring students to think critically about art, encouraging them to express themselves creatively, and guiding them through their artistic journey.
Providing constructive feedback and supporting students' individual progress and achievement.
Contributing to extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and other art-related events, enriching students' experience beyond the classroom.
Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across the school to continually develop the curriculum and improve teaching practices.
