Job Summary We are seeking an accomplished Senior Agile Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives that drive business value and innovation. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Agile methodologies with strong technical understanding, capable of guiding multiple cross-functional teams through challenging projects whilst maintaining focus on outcomes and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery through servant leadership, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent Agile projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business value.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews across multiple teams.
• Coach and mentor teams in Agile best practices, promoting continuous improvement and high-performance culture.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources whilst adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
• Identify and remove impediments that block team progress, escalating issues appropriately and driving resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing transparent communication on project status, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop and track project metrics and KPIs to measure team performance, delivery velocity, and business outcomes.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of priorities and deliverables.
• Manage project risks and dependencies across multiple teams, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
• Drive adoption of Agile practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the wider organisation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing complex technology projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Professional Agile certifications such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP.
• Strong technical background with understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud technologies, and modern architectures.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Expert facilitator with ability to guide teams through conflict resolution and collaborative decision-making.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience with project portfolio management and resource planning across multiple initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret project metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery approaches is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their implications for project delivery.
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and technical audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence without authority.

Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
