Repairs & Maintenance Manager
Location: Spennymoor
Adecco's specialist Property Services Division are proud to have been commissioned to partner exclusively with Livin Housing to assist them in recruiting a permanent Repairs & maintenance manager for their Property Services directorate on to work out of their offices located in Spennymoor.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Repairs & Maintenance Manager to deliver outstanding service in a customer-focused environment. If you thrive on leading high-performing teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations, we want to hear from you
As the Repairs & Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading & Managing Teams: Oversee the Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes/Minor Works teams, ensuring seamless operations with contractors.
- Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Tailor services to meet the unique needs of individual customers, especially vulnerable populations.
- Financial Management: Oversee a budget of approximately £9 million per annum, ensuring all contracts are managed efficiently and effectively.
- Contract Management: Ensure all operational service delivery is planned, managed, and monitored to meet organizational objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of excellence by designing and implementing innovative responsive and void repair services.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data to inform service improvements and future investment needs while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: Housing Health and Safety Rating System qualification (or willingness to undertake further study).
- Experience: Proven success in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality, customer-led services.
Skills
- Strong financial management and contract performance capabilities.
- Expertise in project management techniques and value engineering.
- Ability to lead change programmes and develop partnerships with contractors.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations and Health and Safety standards.
Salary & Benefits
- £60,000

- Additional car allowance payment of £1,850 per annum
- Up to 31.5 days annual leave per year
