Job Details

We are looking for a Design and Technology Technician to join us in this part - time, permanent role as soon as possible. Applicants need to be reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated to providing an excellent service.

You will join the technician team responsible providing support for the Art, Design and Technology faculty. Your specific responsibility will be for the workshop areas that also include an electronics laboratory and soon to be completed CAD/CAM facilities. The department has variety of specialised equipment, including a laser cutter.

What You Need to Succeed

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and/or previous technical experience, although support and training will be provided as necessary. A willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team is essential. You should have a good standard of education and be IT literate with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
