Home Support Worker

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people? Age UK Tunbridge Wells is looking for dedicated individuals to join our Independent Living and Dementia Support Team to help older clients to remain independent in their own homes by supporting with domestic tasks.
The role will include:
- Predominantly Light domestic duties
- Some shopping calls
- Support with some medical appointments-Hospital -GP
- At times supporting clients to keep their household correspondence up to date.
- No personal care or meal preparation is required
- Social interaction and support throughout the calls
- 1-2-1 Supporting clients who maybe living with cognitive decline with enjoyable and stimulating activities.

The role would suit applicants willing to work on their own initiative, applicants must be proactive, conscientious and have a willingness to support others.
You must have use of a smart phone, and use of a car with Business insurance.
The role is subject to DBS clearance.
