We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dental team in delivering high-quality treatment and support to our patients, making their experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
Duties
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during various dental procedures.
- Ensure that all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised prior to treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing information about treatments.
- Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment.
- Assist in managing appointments and follow-up care for patients.
- Stay updated on dental practices, procedures, and IT systems relevant to the role.
Requirements
- Qualified dental nurse
- GDC registered
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to patient management and record keeping.
- A commitment to continuous professional development within the dental field.
