Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Gymnastics, with the ability to educate and inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels. Those with Cheerleading coaching experience may also be suitable. This role involves delivering our First Gymnastics programme which is recreational, ensuring safety standards, and fostering a positive environment for all participants.

Duties

  • Using our First Gymnastics Programme and framework, design and implement fun and engaging gymnastics sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and groups.
  • Educate students on proper techniques, skills progression, and safety practices in gymnastics..
  • Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Organise and lead warm-up exercises, drills, and conditioning activities to improve strength and flexibility.
  • Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for gymnastics among all participants.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Gymnastics or Cheerleading coaching.
  • Strong knowledge of Gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate athletes effectively.
  • Ability to work well with children and young adults in a supportive manner.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications
  • A passion for sports coaching and a commitment to the development of athletes at all levels.
