Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary to Permanent)

We are seeking an experienced
Purchase Ledger Clerk
to join our Finance Team based in Nottingham. This is a
temporary position
with the hope to become a
permanent, full-time role
for the right candidate.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have
2–3 years' experience
in a purchase ledger function and be proficient in
Sage Intacct or Sage 50
. You should be confident working accurately under pressure, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Main Duties

  • Code and check invoices
  • Process VAT payments
  • Input high volumes of invoices
  • Match purchase orders and delivery tickets to invoices
  • Distribute invoices for authorisation
  • Maintain accurate invoice filing systems
  • Handle telephone and general administrative duties
  • Carry out ad-hoc finance and office tasks as required
