The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high calibre matters, our Projects & Energy Transition teams across Australia are looking for Senior Associates with a background in major projects and a commercial mindset to join our leading practice.
In this role you will work closely with clients on projects relating to the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects, with a focus on the transport sector.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Laws, coupled with 5 years or more post admission experience in a projects, infrastructure or construction practice area, gained within a reputable firm, or in-house;
- Passionate about the sectors that we work in and sees the big picture beyond legal issues;
- Exceptional ability to build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with colleagues and clients;
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively, bring lawyers into matter workstreams, and actively mentor lawyers;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Advanced drafting skills;
- A commercial approach while remaining legally appropriate having regard to all broader circumstances;
- Very strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills; and
- Ability to be team-focused and also work independently.
