About the Role:

L Lynch Plant & Haulage is seeking experienced Slingers/Signallers to join a major Tier One client project near Inverness. You will ensure the safe lifting and movement of plant, materials, and equipment on site, working closely with crane operators and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct crane operations safely using standard hand signals and communication methods.
• Prepare, attach, and secure loads for lifting operations.
• Ensure lifting operations comply with UK Health & Safety regulations and site procedures.
• Conduct daily inspections of slinging equipment and report defects.
• Maintain clear communication with crane operators, site management, and other operatives.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and tidy work area.
• Support other site activities as directed by Foreman or Ganger.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Slinger/Signaller on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Valid CPCS Card.
• Banksman/Slinger qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of lifting procedures and health & safety standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
