We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Altcourse, a category B prison located in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool.
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive a salary of £66,792 per annum.
Hours
This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.
Monday- Friday
8am-4pm

What you'll be doing
As a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems
- Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners
- You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times
- Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients
- As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

Qualifications Required
- Registered Nurse – Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC
- Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification
- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
