Role Overview:

Our client, a leading UK law firm with a strong corporate practice, is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join their Birmingham office. This is a key role within a busy corporate team, offering exposure to a wide range of corporate transactions and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including share and asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and corporate governance documentation.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and provide risk analysis to support transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior team members to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Mentor and support junior team members where required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–5years' PQE for Associate level, or 5+ years' PQE for Senior Associate.
  • Strong corporate and transactional experience.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and commercial awareness skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong client management skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.
