An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Infrastructure -HSE Advisor to join Rolls-Royce Submarines.
We are looking for an experienced facility management (FM)/ small construction works biased HSE Advisor that is familiar with CDM regulations and in managing high hazard activities such as working at height, fire and lifting operations with a good level of experience in managing contractor activities.
Reporting to the local HSE Manager and based on a sound understanding of the local HSE performance and risk profile, you will support the implementation of HS&E management arrangements to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and support the drive towards a zero harm culture in support of RRSL's priorities. You will be part of a team to define and deliver agreed improvement plans and be proactive in seeking out emerging issues. Help to identify and promote good practice as well as working collaboratively with Business HS&E colleagues and the wider HS&E function, to build a sense of team and ensure alignment to Business and functional strategies.

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will be involved in:
- actively engaging and communicating with various stakeholders to positively influence a strong HSE culture on site.
- perform and record regular site tours/inspections ensuring acceptable standards and behaviours are being followed at all times.
- providing professional advice and guidance to various stakeholders
- contribute towards ensuring our HSE management systems are continually improved.
- identifying trends and ensuring improvement plans in place are completed in full.
Who we're looking for:

In particular we are looking for an individual with:
- NEBOSH Certificate (General/Construction)
- Ideally hold NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- IEMA/ISEP Environmental Certificate or equivalent
- Previous experience as a HSE Advisor/Manager within construction or facilities management
- Have a proven track record working with contractors on construction / infrastructure projects.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
