Summary

As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities, ensuring their physical and emotional wellbeing. You will play a vital role in helping clients maintain independence and achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting in line with care plans.
  • Support with meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients to access community services, appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Record and report changes in clients' conditions accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and respect at all times.
  • Follow company policies, safeguarding procedures, and care standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential (training provided).
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine interest in supporting others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK and satisfactory DBS check.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends or evenings if required.
