The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled and proactive Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Engineer with strong technical expertise in Access Control Systems, Door Entry Systems, and Fire & Security maintenance. If you're a problem-solver who enjoys hands-on technical challenges, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring systems run to the highest industry standards — this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot ELV systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms).
- Plan, install, and commission systems to a high standard.
- Support and train junior engineers.
- Ensure work meets health, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical advice on-site.
What You'll Need
3+ years' experience in ELV / Fire & Security systems
Strong knowledge of Access Control & Door Entry Systems
BS7671: 18th Edition, ECS or FESS Systems Card
Full UK Driving Licence
Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
(Experience with CCTV, Fibre/Coaxial distribution, and NSI standards is a plus)
