Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform effective treatment strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment is advantageous, particularly in paediatrics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and rapport building.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
