Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform effective treatment strategies.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices.
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment is advantageous, particularly in paediatrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and rapport building.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
