Our client:

  • Is a renowned FMCG food manufacturer boasting a range of iconic brands.
  • Manufacture a mix of own label and branded products.
  • Employs thousands within the UK and promotes a culture of progression and promoting within.
  • Is now seeking a Category & insights Manager to join their growing team

The role:

  • This is a unique role with both external category relationships to manage (Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose) and internal insights focus to identify trends, opportunities, and risks on some of their biggest brands.
  • The role will work collaboratively with a select few customers (major UK retailers) you will support category growth through compelling, insight-led recommendations.
  • As Category & Insights Manager You will have both internal and externally facing responsibilities. From a data and insights perspective you will analyse Nielsen/Circana/Kantar data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for the business.

Ideal Category & Insights Manager candidate:

  • 3+ years FMCG experience in category and insights
  • Data and insights skills are a must – Kantar, NIQ, Circana etc.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and importantly a team player
  • You may already be a Category & Insights Manager or operating at this level within a food / beverage business.
