The role
As Programme Lead for the Land Integrated Operating Service (LIOS), you'll take a pivotal role in one of the UK's most strategic defence programmes. • Leading the development and execution of the LIOS strategy, aligned with the Land Industrial Strategy.
  • Building senior relationships with MOD, British Army, OEMs, and industrial partners.

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, executable solutions.
  • Managing internal governance, win boards, and programme reviews.

The role is based onsite at Andover, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Frequent travel to Bristol, London, and other UK sites will be expected.

Essential experience of the Programme Lead – Land Integrated Operating Service:

  • Proven leadership of large, commercial, multi-disciplinary teams in operational environments (£bn+ value).
  • Successful strategy development and business winning within the Defence sector.
  • Deep understanding of the Authority environment and UK Land Defence sector.
  • Strong customer relationship management across multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience building strategic industrial partnerships at senior levels.

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
