What are we looking for?
We're looking for a creative, reliable, and socially conscious individual who's passionate about using digital media to build community and celebrate diverse artistic voices. You don't need years of experience — what matters most is enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
Ideal Qualities And Experience Include
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other major social platforms.
- Ability to create and schedule engaging posts, Reels, and stories that align with ArtClusiv's mission.
- A good eye for visual storytelling — understanding what makes content scroll-stopping and shareable.
- Awareness of trends in art, culture, and social media, particularly those relevant to BIPOC creatives.
- Experience with basic content tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar).
- Clear communication and collaboration skills — comfortable working remotely as part of a small volunteer team.
- An understanding of or interest in diversity, inclusion, and creative industries.
Bonus (but Not Required)
- Experience with analytics tools or scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Later, Meta Suite).
- Basic photo/video editing skills.
- Interest in community building or creative direction.

What will you be doing?
As Social Media Coordinator for
ArtClusiv
, you'll play a key role in building our online presence and bringing our mission to life — celebrating and connecting BIPOC creatives across artistic disciplines.
You'll work as part of our Marketing and Communications team, collaborating with the Marketing Manager and Content Researchers to transform creative ideas into engaging posts across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule engaging social media content aligned with our brand and campaign goals.
- Collaborate with the Content Research team to share educational, inspiring, and spotlight pieces on artists.
- Stay on top of social media trends, sounds, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Assist in growing follower engagement through consistent posting and interactive content (polls, Q&As, stories, etc.).
- Support upcoming campaigns, artist features, and special online events.
- Provide basic analytics or insights on post performance to help the team improve reach and engagement.
Deliverables
- Weekly posting calendar and published content on Instagram and TikTok.
- Active engagement with followers to build a supportive and creative online community.
- Collaboration with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and storytelling impact.
