We are seeking a Beauty and Retail Sales Assistant who is passionate about beauty, skincare, and customer experience. If you have a flair for luxury retail, love helping customers feel confident in their purchases, and take pride in delivering five-star service, we'd love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide personalised beauty and skincare advice to help customers find the right products for their needs, creating memorable and positive shopping experiences.
  • Promote Premium Beauty Brands: Actively engage customers with expert product knowledge of brands such as Clarins, luxury skincare, and premium fragrances to drive sales and meet targets.
  • Maintain Beautiful Displays: Ensure the beauty area is immaculate, well-stocked, and visually appealing in line with brand standards.
  • Support Beauty Events & Promotions: Assist with in-store beauty promotions, sampling events, and new product launches.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up to date with the latest beauty, skincare, and fragrance trends, as well as seasonal campaigns and offers.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with pharmacy and retail colleagues to ensure a seamless and professional customer experience.

Skills and Experience

  • Beauty Retail Experience: Previous experience in luxury beauty, skincare, or fragrance sales (e.g. Clarins, Estée Lauder, Dior, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A genuine passion for people and delivering exceptional service in every interaction.
  • Sales Confidence: Ability to engage customers, promote products effectively, and achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Presentation & Organisation: Strong attention to detail in maintaining product displays and managing stock.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to support wider pharmacy operations when needed, contributing to the smooth running of the store.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
