Contract Type: Permanent, term-time (+2 weeks). 36 hours per week, 39 weeks term time plus 2 weeks during school holidays.
Salary: £26,949 (FTE £30,356 for 52 weeks)

Schools Alliance for Excellence is the education partnership for Surrey. We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our dedicated, growing team.
To succeed in this role, you will have at least two years' experience in an administration role, excellent writing and planning skills and enjoy working proactively as part of a great team.

Job Description
This is a key role providing the administrative and programme support to the School Improvement Team. Liaising with our Programme Leads and School Based Associates to ensure the smooth planning and implementation of our professional learning programme and school improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking venues and catering and making arrangements for any face to face events. Setting up and supporting at face to face events, arranging and checking catering, sign-in process and any resources (such as documents) that are available for delegates.
- Running Zoom sessions when required for your project leads, taking the register, supporting delegates who have technical issues etc.
- Produce slides in SAfE house style (guide provided) where required for sessions in liaison with project leads
- Uploading events to the Booking Portal (WordPress)* and CRM system (SalesForce)* and maintenance of the data pertinent to the events you are involved with.
- Monitoring ticket sales for the events you are working on, and alerting and working with project leads to address any low ticket sales.
- Production of simple flyers for some events, and management of website content in collaboration with your programme lead.
- Writing and sending targeted emails to encourage bookings – in collaboration with programme lead. Working with the Marketing and Communications Officer to integrate your projects messages into the SAfE-wide communications.
- Other duties as required.
Working pattern
All of our Programme Support administrators work from home on Fridays and up to one other day per week. Occasional attendance to support offsite events within Surrey. This role is 36 hours per week over 5 days for39 weeks over term time plus 2 weeks during school holidays.
Essential Skills and Experience
- A minimum of two years' experience as an administrator within a busy business or project team.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to think ahead, prioritise and work flexibly and accurately when under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to accurately and efficiently maintain records and databases.
- Common sense and an eye for detail.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Excel and familiarity with online meeting platforms e.g. Zoom. Some experience too of MailChimp, Canva, CRM databases and updating webpages would be useful although training will be given.
