The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton joins an existing portfolio of award-winning hotels owned by Dominus and managed by Dominus Hospitality. Opening in February 2026 the hotel will join Hilton's prestigious Curio Collection in the UK, a global set of remarkable upper upscale hotels handpicked for their unique character and personality - each one a part of the fabric of the city it calls home.

The Derby offers 234 contemporary bedrooms, including 13 suites with panoramic city views. About The Role

We are looking for a detail-driven and guest-focused Reservations Supervisor to support the Director of Revenue in delivering a seamless and efficient reservations operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, maximising revenue opportunities, and providing exceptional service from the moment a guest first contacts the hotel, upholding Dominus and Curio Collection by Hilton's values.

Key Responsibilities

• Process individual and group reservations accurately, efficiently, and in line with brand standards.
• Handle escalated or complex enquiries, VIP bookings, special requests, and service recovery with confidence and care.
• Maintain excellent communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support inventory control by monitoring room availability, overbooking levels, and system accuracy.
• Assist in managing group enquiries, rooming lists, contracts, and payment arrangements.
• Ensure all guest profiles, reservation notes, and communications are accurate and complete.
• Monitor OTA extranets and flag discrepancies, commission issues, or rate mismatches.
• Support training and development for the Reservations and Front Office teams on reservation processes.

Key Skills

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling bookings and guest information.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using PMS/CRS systems and comfortable navigating OTAs (Hilton systems experience is essential).
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Organised and analytical, with the ability to spot errors and improve processes.

About You

• Experience in hotel reservations, ideally as a Reservations Agent or in a supervisory role within a 4/5-star or lifestyle hotel environment.
• Experience in handling group enquiries
• A positive, professional, and guest-centric approach to service.
• Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and comfortable handling challenging or time-sensitive situations.
• Collaborative and supportive, with the ability to work closely with multiple departments.
• Adaptable and ready to contribute in a pre-opening environment where priorities evolve quickly.
