and Merchandiser Manager – MFI: Product to Perfection

Are you the logistical mastermind who can turn a buying plan into a perfect delivery?
MFI, the dynamic online homewares brand within the Victorian Plumbing family, is rapidly growing, and we need a highly organised and proactive
Supply Chain Manager
to join our newly established Product Team. This role is the
linchpin
between our buyers, our warehouse, and our customers. If you thrive on precision, data, and ensuring products move efficiently from supplier to shelf, we want to hear from you

About MFI
As part of the Victorian Plumbing Group, MFI is dedicated to offering a
curated range of stylish and practical furniture and homewares
online. Your work will directly impact the availability and speed of delivery for our beautiful products, fundamentally shaping the customer experience on the MFI website.

The Role: Your Impact & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Buying, you will provide
vital operational support
to the MFI Buyers and the Commercial Finance Senior Manager. You are the expert who ensures stock is perfectly managed and product flow is seamless.

  • Stock & Intake Control: Lead the WSSI (Weekly Stock, Sales, and Intake) updates. Forecast stock requirements and meticulously manage intake at a product and category level to inform and agree on buy proposals with senior management.
  • Order Accuracy & Visibility: Own and maintain all Purchase Orders (POs), manage Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), and maintain the delivery schedule to provide crystal-clear clarity on what stock is arriving and when.
  • Trading Performance: Work closely with the Commercial Finance Senior Manager to track sales and margin performance. Actively feed into the weekly trading reviews, flagging issues and highlighting strategic opportunities.
  • Supplier Logistics: Manage relationships with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, cancellations, and replenishment orders.
  • Buy Management: Process and manage OTBs (Open to Buys), manage clearance buys, and propose markdown strategies.
  • International Flow: Assist with container builds and effectively liaise with the central Imports team to ensure international product buys are managed and replenished efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and flag any errors, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement within the product lifecycle processes or systems.

Skills & Experience You'll Need

  • Detail-Obsessed: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational and management skills. You leave no stone unturned.
  • Analytical Tool Kit: High proficiency in Excel and experience using product/inventory management applications.
  • Supply Chain Acumen: Previous experience in eCommerce, retail administration, or merchandising support is preferred.
  • Industry Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for homewares and furniture products.
  • Communication Pro: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to deal professionally with key internal and external supply chain partners.
  • Driven & Adaptable: A self-motivated and proactive problem-solver who can learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Highly results-oriented and eager to drive continuous improvement.
