This is an excellent opportunity for a developing professional to work on high-profile retail investment portfolios whilst building expertise in commercial real estate valuation and risk assessment.Key ResponsibilitiesValuation & AnalysisConduct comprehensive valuations of retail investment properties including shopping centres, retail parks, high street assets, and mixed-use developmentsPrepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards and international valuation guidelinesAnalyse market data, comparable transactions, and rental evidence to support valuation conclusionsPerform discounted cash flow (DCF) modelling and other valuation methodologiesMarket Research & IntelligenceMonitor retail property market trends, occupier demand, and investment activity across UK and European marketsResearch and analyse comparable transactions, rental levels, and yield movementsMaintain databases of market evidence and transactional dataContribute to market reports and thought leadership publicationsClient DeliverySupport senior team members in client presentations and meetingsAssist with portfolio valuations for institutional investors, fund managers, and REITsContribute to due diligence exercises for acquisition and disposal mandatesProvide analytical support for investment committee papers and board reportingRisk AssessmentIdentify and assess key risks affecting retail asset values including tenant covenant, lease events, and market factorsSupport ESG and sustainability assessments of retail portfoliosAssist with scenario modelling and sensitivity analysisRequired Qualifications & ExperienceEducation & Professional DevelopmentBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property, Economics, Finance, or related fieldRICS APC or equivalent professional qualification2-4 years' experience in commercial real estate, preferably in valuation, investment, or advisory rolesTechnical SkillsStrong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in financial modellingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Argus or similar valuation software preferredUnderstanding of real estate valuation principles and methodologiesKnowledge of UK retail property markets and investment structuresCore CompetenciesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureCollaborative team player with client-focussed mindsetAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesProfessional presentation skills #LI-BW2Location: On-site –London, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the table If you require any changes to the application process, please email or call +44 (0) to contact one of our team members to discuss how to best support you throughout the process.
