Inclusion Matters. At GSK, we're uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. Our success depends on every one of our people feeling they belong, are treated fairly, and have the opportunity to thrive. As one of the UK's leading FTSE 10 employers with around 10,000 UK employees, we have a responsibility to ensure inclusion is built into what we do, how we work, and who we are.
We're looking for a UK Inclusion Lead - an experienced Inclusion expert – to drive our inclusion strategy across the UK, helping us continue to build an inclusive culture where different perspectives and experiences help unlock the full potential of the organisation.
Your Purpose
As the UK Inclusion Lead, you will be the strategic connector between GSK's Global inclusion agenda and the UK business. You'll play a key role in embedding our inclusion principles of fairness, belonging, and opportunity across all parts of our UK organisation - from manufacturing and production sites to our head office and senior leadership teams.
Based in London, and reporting to the UK HR Country Head, you'll partner closely with our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), business leaders, and external partners to strengthen our culture, build confidence and capability around inclusion, and ensure our approach remains forward-looking, data-informed, and impactful.
Your purpose is to help every employee in GSK UK feel seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.
What you will do
Strategic Leadership and Partnership:
- Lead the design and implementation of GSK's UK Inclusion strategy, ensuring it aligns with global priorities and our business objectives.
- Partner with global inclusion colleagues in the US, Belgium and other markets to share best practices and ensure consistency across geographies.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from across the organisation including HR, business unit leaders, and beyond to drive accountability, increasing engagement and measurable outcomes.
Employee Engagement and Networks:
- Act as a trusted partner to GSK's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) – Spectrum (LGBTQ+), Disability Confidence Network (Disability), Women's Leadership Initiative (Gender) and Embrace (Race and Ethnicity) and Inclusion Networks (Neurodiversity, Social Mobility, Parents and Carers, and Veterans, amplifying their impact and connecting their work to business priorities.
- Support and coach ERG and Network leaders, building capability and ensuring alignment with GSK's inclusion goals.
Communications and Engagement:
- Develop and deliver an inclusive communications and engagement strategy that inspires confidence at all levels of the organisation, building advocacy and participation.
- Influence and partner across GSK's key UK business units, including Commercial, R&D, ViiV Healthcare, Global Functions, and Global Supply Chain, ensuring inclusion is embedded in everyday actions and decision-making.
Data, Insight, and Continuous Improvement:
- Use data analysis, employee engagement insights, and external benchmarking to shape plans and measure progress.
- Conduct horizon scanning to stay ahead of evolving trends, best practices, and the external inclusion landscape.
- Monitor and interpret UK legislation, ensuring GSK remains compliant and proactive.
Reputation and External Partnerships:
- Strengthen GSK's internal and external reputation as a leader in inclusion, representing the company at key industry forums and building partnerships with relevant external organisations.
- Showcase GSK's commitment to inclusion through storytelling, recognition, benchmarking, and thought leadership.
Culture and Capability Building:
- Inspire confidence and commitment across all UK teams, including production and manufacturing, to embed inclusion into ways of working.
- Develop resources and programmes that help employees thrive and leaders build inclusive capability.
Why You?
You are an experienced and dynamic inclusion leader and expert who thrives in a fast-paced, complex organisation. You combine strategic thinking with the ability to connect authentically across all levels of an organisation.
You bring:
- Proven experience leading inclusion strategy/programmes in a large, complex organisation (ideally global or multi-site).
- You are recognised as an inclusion expert
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences.
- An understanding of UK equality and inclusion legislation, trends, and best practices.
- An analytical approach, comfortable working with data and insights to inform decisions and measure progress.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working with employee networks, ERGs, and external partners.
- Strategic agility to connect UK initiatives with global inclusion priorities and business performance goals.
