Working Hours: Monday-Friday from 07:00 to 19:00

Contracted Hours: 60 hours per week

Job role

Working with us at GUK, we value you more than just a security guard. You will be responsible for maintaining the look and feel of our pristine site. You will be responsible for providing safety of this modern building with your customer service and support for those who work and visit the building.

The role is critical to ensure our operational day-to-day frontline services work like clockwork. A typical day for someone who is self-motivated could include access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book. You will then finish every shift with a good thorough handover.

You are an individual who communicates well, have a strong sense for reliability and understand the importance of being smartly presented in uniform at all times. Also you would need to be proactive and always willing to learn.

You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the continued success of GUK.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in the Security Industry.
  • Excellent Customer Service Delivery.
  • Good Speaking & Listening Skills.
  • Ability to complete individual set tasks.
  • Excellent Report Writing & IT/Computing Skills.
  • Outstanding Personal Appearance, Etiquette & Grooming Standard.
  • Project/Task Management & Working well under pressure.
  • Timekeeping & Time Management Skills.
  • Client & Tenant Engagement.
  • Operating Reslink or equivalent patrol management software.
  • Operating e-DOB or equivalent Dashboard programme.

Qualifications Required:

  • Preference Accredited Health & Safety Qualification or IOSH.
  • Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License.
  • Valid SIA CCTV License (Preferable)
  • Valid First Aid at Work
  • Valid Mental Health First Aid at Work (Preferable)
  • Valid Fire Mashal Qualification/Fire Warden Qualification or Fire Safety Equivalent Qualification.
  • ACT Awareness & ACT Security Certificate.
  • Customer Service Excellence or World Host Training or Equivalent.
  • Conflict Management Training.
