Job Summary

At Bar Tropicia We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional Bartender/cocktail maker to join our vibrant team.

We are looking for Friday and Saturday staff, other days will be available at some point.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess excellent time management skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills when processing payments.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and welcomed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a bartending and cocktail making role is a must.
  • A solid understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while multitasking during busy periods.
