Senior DevOps Engineer
to join their high-performing Cloud Engineering team in Belfast. You'll be working at the forefront of cloud, virtualisation, and automation - helping shape scalable, secure, and cutting-edge infrastructure.

The Role

You'll design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade private cloud environments, working with a mix of virtualisation, containerisation, and automation technologies to deliver secure, high-performance infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and support private or hybrid cloud platforms using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtualisation technologies.
  • Manage and maintain containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Automate deployments using Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
  • Integrate and optimise compute, network, and storage solutions across environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across Linux systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, networking, and security teams.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and playbooks.

About You

  • Approx 5 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong background in virtualisation or private cloud (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenStack, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and ideally Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Confident in automation/orchestration (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar).
  • Solid grasp of Linux systems, networking, and storage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Must be based in Northern Ireland (hybrid Belfast role).
