Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organisational skills and attention to detail are highly valued. The ideal applicant will have prior office experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Manage front desk operations, including handling mail and deliveries
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Maintain appointment schedules and organize dentist appointments as required
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic financial record keeping and invoicing tasks
- Support office team with various clerical responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organizational abilities
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with data entry and clerical tasks in a busy environment
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to priorities tasks effectively
- Administrative experience that demonstrates attention to detail and reliability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
