Job Description: Selenium Automation Engineer (0–12 Years Experience) – Remote, UK

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Remote (United Kingdom)

Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK. No visa sponsorship is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid, Data-Driven).
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to ensure full test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing using automation.
  • Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and document defects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Contribute to automation improvements and standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers (for mid/senior-level candidates).

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, PyTest, BDD/Cucumber).
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
  • Basic SQL for data validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset.
  • Collaborative team player.
