Responsibilities
As a Solicitor you'll be responsible for:
- Managing a caseload of Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and complex Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims.
- Providing expert legal advice on liability, quantum, medical evidence, and causation issues.
- Handling litigation for cases under Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings, ensuring smooth progression to settlement or trial.
- Drafting complex schedules of loss, assessing past and future losses with precision.
- Collaborating closely with clients, colleagues, and third parties to achieve the best outcomes.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Newcastle with a supportive and highly skilled team dedicated to delivering results.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a talented, ambitious, and client-focused legal professional with a passion for high-value and complex personal injury claims. You'll need:
- Admission to Solicitors roll or equivalent.
- Experience or comprehensive knowledge of EL, PL, and RTA cases with supervision.
- A strong understanding of medical evidence, causation issues, and quantum assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team-oriented approach, with flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in case management systems (Proclaim experience is a plus).
Desirable Skills
- Up to 3 years PQE in personal injury law.
