We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Stores and Parts Manager to join our growing and successful business.
JACE Supplies was established 40 years ago and is now a Multi-Million pound business servicing over 250 customers across Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire. We supply and install milking equipment including parlours, robotic and automatic milking systems, parlour upgrades, mobile milking solutions, hygiene and other farm technology products. We offer full parlour service and break down assistance to our customers and are a main dealer for one of the world's leading Farm Technology companies, GEA Farm Technologies.

To support our growth, we are recruiting for a brand new position, a Stores and parts manager where you will support the day-to-day running of our warehouse, inventory, and assist with customer demand needs. This role focuses on accurate stock control, efficient stores procedures, and smooth operational workflows. It is a hands-on operational support role with no direct management responsibilities, although you will be a crucial lynchpin for our team of engineers and the wider business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with daily coordination of stores activities including goods in, storage, and dispatch.
- Deal with customers Face-to-Face, over the phone or on e-mail and assist with co-ordinating customer demand and allocating jobs to the wider team of engineers.
- Maintain accurate stock records within our ERP System Profit 4 (P4)
- Conduct cycle counts and support full stocktakes.
- Ensure stock is stored safely, labelled, and accessible within a safe and clean stores environment.
- Place stock orders as required to maintain stock levels and meet order fulfilment needs, ensuring purchase orders are raised on P4.
- Receive and check orders in, raising any missing item claims with suppliers.
- Safely operate forklift for heavy goods when receiving in deliveries.
- Pick customer orders for either engineer job tasks or for delivery.
- Undertake ad-hoc deliveries to customers as required or distribute via couriers.
- Meet and greet customers providing an excellent service, fulfilling orders and placing sales orders on P4.
- Assist with documentation such as delivery notes and stock movement records.
- Suggest process improvements where appropriate.
- Follow all warehouse health & safety procedures.
- Assist with equipment checks, housekeeping, and safe storage practices.
- Report hazards, incidents, and process risks.
We are flexible as to your skills and experience but ideally require experience of working with stock and order management systems and you must have a strong customer service focus, with a great team work ethic.

This position is full-time Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, however, for an exceptional candidate we may consider someone working 5 days on reduced hours.
