Cabin Assistant

Job Title: Cabin Assistant

Location: Portsmouth – Fishbourne route

Department: Retail

An opportunity has arisen for a Cabin Assistant to join us on board our vessels on our Portsmouth – Fishbourne ferries. As a Cabin Assistant you will provide a high standard of passenger service to customers in all passenger areas within the ship.

This role starts as soon as possible until November 2025.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the retail team on board to provide a high standard of customer care
• Ensure an excellent customer experience
• Ensure passenger lounges and facilities are clean and clear
• Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule and when required by the Chief Steward on board the ferries
• Provide a welcome to passengers on embarkation and offer any information they might request regarding the facilities on board
• Participate in safety demonstrations as requested by the Chief Steward or Chief officer

· Experience in a similar role would be an advantage

· Good communicator

· Excellent customer service skills

· Calm demeanour

· Adaptable and flexible

· Comfortable working on a ship

· Happy to work shifts
